Leech Lake Gaming

Leech Lake Gaming is the business entity of the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe’s It was formed during the advent of Indian Gaming in the 1980's. The Leech Lake Reservation is located in north central Minnesota amidst the forests and lakes. The Ojibwe, or Chippewa, migrated to this area in the 1700's and came to settle in this beautiful location. Currently, Leech Lake is governed by a five-member Reservation Tribal Council (RTC) that are elected by the Tribal members.

There are several tribally owned businesses located throughout the reservation such as: Northern Lights Casino Hotel & Event Center, Palace Casino & Hotel, White Oak Casino, Northern Lights Express Gas Station, Che-We Supply, Che-We Minimart, and Che-We Gift Shop.
